YC Inox Co., Ltd., a leading stainless steel producer based in Taiwan, has officially opened its industrial stainless steel pipe factory in Turkey. This marks a significant achievement for the company as it strengthens its position in the global stainless steel industry. The facility, which has already produced its first batch of products, is expected to begin trial production in the first quarter of 2025, with mass production set to start in the second quarter of the year.

The new plant in Turkey is part of YC Inox’s strategy to enhance its global reach and operational capacity. The factory's first phase will have an annual production capacity of 20,000 metric tons of stainless steel pipes. When fully operational, the plant is expected to exceed 30,000 metric tons of annual capacity, contributing substantially to the company’s total output.

This new Turkish factory will play a crucial role in YC Inox's ambition to become the world's second-largest stainless steel pipe producer. Combined with the cutting and structural pipe plants that were established in 2022, the Turkish facility is expected to significantly enhance the company's production capacity and contribute over 50% of the group’s income from production in the future. This expansion aligns with YC Inox’s goal of becoming a major player in the international stainless steel market, with a diverse portfolio of plants located across key regions globally.

The Turkish factory, strategically located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa, offers YC Inox a competitive edge in terms of logistics and accessibility to international markets. The geographical advantage of Turkey as a trade hub spanning three continents is expected to streamline the supply chain and reduce costs, enhancing the company’s ability to meet the demands of its global clientele. This move is particularly significant as YC Inox has already overcome numerous international challenges since its initial investment in Turkey in 2019.
