The Repair Process and Key Contributions

Following the maritime accident, the most urgent task was to replace the lock gate, which had been rendered inoperable. The repair process was expedited with the swift manufacturing of critical parts, such as four gate anchors, two cardan frames, and two turning column stops. These components are essential for ensuring that the lock gate functions properly, as they support the gate's movement and guarantee a watertight seal between the gate doors and the lock wall.

The four gate anchors are designed to hold the anchor collar rods of the gate doors securely, allowing the doors to move freely and safely during operation. The two cardan frames support the cylinders that enable the gate doors to open and close efficiently, while the two turning column stops ensure that the gate doors remain tightly sealed, preventing water from leaking through.
