APL Apollo Tubes Achieves Robust Growth in Q3 FY 2024-25
India’s leading manufacturer of structural steel tubes, APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has reported impressive financial results for the third quarter (October-December) of fiscal year 2024-25. The company achieved a net profit of INR 2.17 billion ($25 million), marking a 30.7% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The company’s performance was bolstered by strong operational revenues, which totaled INR 54.32 billion ($627.25 million), a 30% rise year on year.
Sales Growth Drives Revenue Expansion
APL Apollo Tubes' strong performance was largely driven by a significant increase in sales. The company reported sales of 828,000 metric tons of steel tubes during the third quarter, representing a 37% increase compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This rise in sales volume underscores the growing demand for structural steel tubes, which are used in various industries including construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Cumulative Sales for April-December 2024-25 Show Positive Momentum
For the first nine months of the fiscal year (April-December), APL Apollo Tubes recorded total sales of 2.308 million metric tons. This represents a 19% year-on-year increase, showcasing the company's sustained growth trajectory despite the challenges posed by global economic fluctuations. The rise in sales for the nine-month period reflects a consistent uptick in demand for the company’s products, which are integral to a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
