Thom Browne’s eyewear is back with a remarkable new collection following the termination of its licensee partnership and the decision to bring the business back in-house. The American fashion label proudly reveals its own range of made-in-Japan sunglasses and eyeglasses, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality materials.

Each model in this collection is built using special titanium, which is one-third the weight of steel and more costly to produce than pure titanium. This material is praised for being thin, light, durable, and flexible, making each frame corrosion-resistant and hypoallergenic. The frames are crafted with Japanese acetate, a material that undergoes a three-month tumbling and mixing process to achieve its premium quality.

The collection features lenses with 100% UVA and UVB protection, available in various tints including brown, navy, dark grey, green, silver, and gold. Signature four-bar stripes adorn the hinges, nose pads, and frames, adding a distinct touch to the eyewear. The range includes renovated takes on classic shapes such as round, cat eye, square, aviator, brow-line, and pantos frames.

Photographed by Bruno Staub, the campaign accompanying the collection depicts models in the Seagram Building in New York, embodying the daily nine-to-five routine through scenes of strolling through the plaza, sitting at desks, reading newspapers, and daydreaming. This setting aligns with Thom Browne’s vision of reimagining everyday professional life.

Thom Browne’s eyewear collection is now available for purchase on the brand’s webstore and in select boutiques, with prices ranging from $540 to $2,790
