Technological Trifecta: Three Rolling Routesfor Versatility
The new blooming mill enables three strategic rollingconfigurations:
1. DirectRolling – Ingots or blooms are broken down into billets andinstantly transferred to the existing MH wirerod mill, bypassingreheating. This drastically reduces energy use and preserves finegrain structure, crucial for high-stress applications.
2. IntermediateRolling – After initial breakdown, the semi-finished stock canenter a new reversing shiftable stand, offering additional deformationand shape refinement. This is ideal for customizable cross-sections or nicheindustrial orders.
3. FullRoute Rolling – A comprehensive path combining the reversingstand, continuous mill, in-line quenching, and a full finishingarea ensures maximum control, especially for grades that demand specificheat treatments and metallurgical profiles.
