The Board of Directors, during their meeting on November 13, 2024, approved the appointment of Harish Mukati as the Chief Executive Officer of the Steel Division, with his tenure beginning November 14, 2024.
The appointment of Mukati represents a strategic move for Electrotherm, bringing on board a professional with extensive experience in both engineering and steel sectors. At 47 years old, Mukati brings a combination of technical expertise and management acumen to his new role, having accumulated more than 23 years of experience in strategic planning and business operations within the engineering and steel industries.
Mukati's educational background reflects a strong foundation in both technical and management disciplines. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology Bhopal, complemented by executive management studies from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, one of India's premier business schools.
Throughout his career spanning more than two decades, Mukati has demonstrated proficiency in managing complex business operations across the engineering and steel sectors. His experience encompasses various aspects of the industry, from technical operations to strategic business development, making him well-suited to lead Electrotherm's Steel Division.
