AISI CEO Supports President Trump’s Renewed Focus on U.S. Steel Industry
In response to President Trump’s memorandum on his America First Trade Policy, Kevin Dempsey, the President and CEO of the American Iron and Steel Institute, issued a statement expressing strong support for the president's commitment to addressing key challenges facing the U.S. steel industry. Dempsey welcomed the focus on national security as a critical component of U.S. trade policy, emphasizing the steel industry’s vital role in maintaining both economic strength and military readiness.
