Starting on November 1, she will take over from Mia Eriksson, who is advancing to become the HR Director for SSAB Europe. Eva Elfving is well-prepared for her new role, having most recently served as the head of cold rolling at the Borlänge site. Her extensive experience at SSAB began in 2006 when she joined the company as a product developer focusing on cold-rolled and metal-coated products. Over the years, she has excelled in various senior positions, honing her skills in process development, production stability, and health and safety. Her academic background includes an MSc in materials technology, emphasizing materials science from Dalarna University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
In her statement regarding the appointment, Elfving expressed her pride in the trust bestowed upon her and highlighted the exciting challenges that lie ahead.
