Turkish steel producer Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi has recently made significant strides in its international sales of steel rails. The company has successfully won a tender to supply steel rails worth approximately €10.29 million to Algeria. This deal underscores Kardemir's growing presence in the global steel market and its ability to meet international demands.

The contract specifies that the steel rails will be delivered within a three-month timeframe from the signing date. This timely delivery is crucial, as it aligns with Algeria's infrastructure development needs. The Algerian government has been investing heavily in improving its rail transport system, and Kardemir's role in this project will support these efforts.

In addition to the Algerian deal, Kardemir has been active in other international markets. In September 2024, the company secured another contract worth $17.64 million with Azerbaijan for the sale of steel rails. This double success highlights Kardemir's capability to compete on a global scale and its commitment to expanding its footprint beyond Turkey.

Kardemir, founded in 1938, is one of Turkey's oldest and most prominent steel producers. The company has a strong reputation for producing high-quality steel products, including long steel and rail products. Its strategic focus on international markets has positioned it as a key player in the steel industry, not only in Turkey but also in regions like North Africa and the Caucasus.
