Born in Chennai in 1957, Nirudhoddi Jay Srinivaslu hails from a family where his father was a respected teacher. His formative years were spent in Chennai, and he pursued his education in Chemistry at Presidency College.
Early in his career, Srinivaslu worked as a clerk at Indian Railways and later at New India Insurance. In 1979, he joined Steel Authority of India Limited, marking the beginning of his journey in the steel industry.
His career took a pivotal turn in 1997 when he was handpicked by steel magnate LN Mittal. He moved to Mexico to specialize in tube manufacturing, demonstrating his expertise in the global steel market.
Following his tenure with Mittal, Srinivaslu ventured into entrepreneurship with Corepack Steel, where he continued to innovate and expand his industry footprint.
As his career evolved, Srinivaslu transitioned into long-term stock trading, leveraging his insights and experience to navigate financial markets successfully.
