The collaboration aims to streamline Fabindia’s e-commerce supply chain and improve the efficiency of its order processing across both online and offline channels. This partnership was officially announced by both companies on Wednesday.

Unicommerce will provide Fabindia with advanced technological solutions including multi-channel order management, a warehouse management system, and an omnichannel retail management system. These tools are designed to enhance Fabindia’s ability to manage orders efficiently across its online platforms and physical retail stores. According to the joint release, this integration will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers, irrespective of the channel they choose to shop from.

One of the key features of this collaboration is the synchronization of Fabindia’s inventory on an hourly basis. This capability will enable the brand to offer ship-from-store options for online orders and manage returns more effectively, thereby enhancing the overall post-purchase experience for customers. By integrating Unicommerce’s technology, Fabindia aims to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction simultaneously.

Currently, Fabindia manages a catalog of 1,75,000 items across various channels. The company processes orders from over 100 stores and four warehouses using Unicommerce’s platform. This extensive reach highlights the importance of a robust and efficient supply chain management system to cater to the growing demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
