The results of this partnership have been impressive. Since 2022, Monmouthshire Building Society has achieved a remarkable 52% reduction in its total emissions for the period 2022-2023. Building on this success, the society has further reduced its emissions by approximately 20% in the past year alone. However, she acknowledged that there is still much work to be done to reach the ultimate goal of becoming net-zero by 2050, in line with UK requirements for companies.
