The Mission Master SP, XT, and the latest addition, the CXT, will all be on display, allowing visitors to discover the unique capabilities of each vehicle. In addition to its Uncrewed Ground Systems, Rheinmetall will display its Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator, enabling delegates to test the vehicles in a virtual yet realistic environment. This interactive element underscores Rheinmetall’s dedication to integrating cutting-edge simulation technology with its hardware offerings, providing a holistic approach to defense solutions.
The Mission Master SP is a compact UGS equipped with a low-signature electric motor and amphibious capabilities, making it an invaluable asset in operations requiring stealth and versatility. This variant exemplifies Rheinmetall’s focus on silent, efficient, and adaptable defense systems, capable of navigating diverse and challenging environments.
The larger Mission Master CXT and XT vehicles are designed to handle extreme terrains such as ice, snow, sand, and rocky landscapes. Their advanced amphibious capabilities allow them to float and swim while maintaining their full payload capacity of 1000 kg. The CXT, slightly smaller than the XT, features hybrid propulsion, enabling silent transport of heavy payloads, whereas the XT is diesel-powered and is the largest of the Mission Master vehicles. Rheinmetall’s PATH A-Kit, an AI-powered navigation system, is installed on all Mission Master UGS vehicles and can drive almost any military and commercial vehicle. This world-leading technology is showcased through the light tactical MRZR-D4 vehicle from Polaris, demonstrating the PATH A-Kit’s agnostic capacity and its application across different vehicle platforms. This feature underscores Rheinmetall’s innovation in autonomous navigation and its versatility in defense applications.
Visitors will also experience Rheinmetall’s Tactical Assault Kit integration service, which includes the development of tailored plugins to meet specific needs. The Android Tactical Assault Kit, integrated into all Mission Master vehicles, will be available for hands-on testing. This service emphasizes Rheinmetall’s ability to customize and enhance tactical operations through advanced technological integration.
The MSU-GP 200T Air Start Unit is another highlight at Rheinmetall’s display. This turbine-powered ASU is lighter and more compact than diesel engine units, proven reliable in extreme weather environments, and transportable by air and naval carriers. Rheinmetall’s SolarΣShield, a patented fabric designed and tested by Defence Research and Development Canada, will also be on display. Selected to equip the Australian Defence Force’s new Redback IFV, this fabric reduces solar heat load and manages multispectral signatures against various detection methods. Additionally, Rheinmetall Canada is collaborating with JCB and other OEMs for Canada’s Common Heavy Equipment Replacement project, aiming to provide the Canadian Armed Forces with reliable and sustainable heavy support equipment. The High Mobility Engineer Excavator from JCB will be on display, showcasing Rheinmetall’s role in enhancing Canada’s earth-working and cargo-handling capabilities.
For the Domestic Arctic Mobility Enhancement project, Rheinmetall Canada is partnering with UTV International to provide the Canadian Armed Forces with high mobility vehicles capable of operating in the diverse terrains of Canada’s North and Arctic regions. The “Voyager” from UTV International will be on display, illustrating Rheinmetall’s dedication to supporting Canada’s strategic mobility and defense initiatives.
