AEMACO, a pioneering provider of comprehensive energy management solutions, has successfully implemented its cutting-edge energy management system at Servhub’s labor camp in the UAE. This deployment resulted in a significant 20% reduction in energy consumption, showcasing the impact of AEMACO’s innovative technology in the region.

Founded in 2020, AEMACO initially focused on air conditioning systems, developing its unique hardware and software solution designed to monitor and control AC units. This solution, the first of its kind in the UAE and Saudi markets, includes IoT hardware such as sensors and transmitters that interface with AC units across various buildings. The software component consolidates directives to manage these devices, enhancing overall energy efficiency.

In collaboration with PROVEN Solution, AEMACO implemented this energy management system at Servhub’s labor camp facility. The unified platform solution, comprising the IoT hardware device AirEcon and AI-enabled software, optimizes energy usage automatically. This synergy led to reduced energy consumption, lower maintenance costs, and increased equipment lifespan at the facility.

Saboor Ahmad, CEO of AEMACO, emphasized the importance of reducing utility consumption for building management costs. He stated, "We aimed to develop a solution that would reduce expenses, improve energy efficiency, and incorporate automation. Beginning with air conditioners, given their significant power consumption in the Middle East, we plan to expand our focus on water and electricity. Our solution successfully helped Servhub reduce energy costs and optimize the management of their energy devices. We look forward to advancing our technologies to other facilities such as schools, mosques, and hospitals, promoting energy-saving solutions tailored for diverse needs."

Servhub, a leading comprehensive blue-collar service provider in the region, benefited greatly from this partnership. Zaid Al Mashari, CEO and co-founder of PROVEN Arabia, which oversees Servhub, highlighted the significance of this achievement. "Servhub’s facility buildings are designed to minimize costs, enhance energy efficiency, and adhere to sustainability principles. We are proud to be working with AEMACO and chose their innovative energy management solution that is user-friendly, cost-effective, and easily customizable. Achieving a remarkable 20% energy consumption reduction using AEMACO’s solution, we plan to implement it in other facilities too."

The pilot project was executed at two of Servhub’s labor camp facilities, comprising 157 rooms and housing approximately 1200 residents. All AC units were integrated with a hardware gateway device, facilitating seamless communication between the software and the units. The AC units were managed through a single software interface, enabling authorized personnel to remotely oversee all units, receive real-time updates on energy usage, and detect anomalies, making it a proactive energy management approach.

The software operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, developed by PROVEN Solution, a startup specializing in technological solutions within the fields of robotics and virtual reality. This collaboration underscores the potential of integrating advanced technology with traditional energy management practices to achieve substantial energy savings.

As AEMACO and PROVEN Solution continue to refine and expand their offerings, the success at Servhub’s labor camp sets a precedent for similar facilities seeking to enhance energy efficiency and reduce costs. This partnership exemplifies how innovative technology can drive sustainable energy solutions in various sectors, paving the way for broader implementation in the future.
