Great Pacific Media, a subsidiary of Thunderbird Entertainment Group, is celebrating a string of successes with renewals for several of its flagship productions and the announcement of new projects. The company currently has five series in production, totaling over 50 hours of content.

One of GPM's most notable achievements is the historic 14th-season renewal of Highway Thru Hell by Bell Media's Discovery. The new season is set to begin filming in the winter of 2024, with Season 13 slated to premiere on Discovery Canada and The Weather Channel later this fall. This long-running series has been a cornerstone of GPM's unscripted programming.

In addition to its unscripted successes, GPM is making strides in the scripted realm with the production of Sidelined: The QB and Me, a film based on the popular Wattpad novel. The movie, produced and financed by GPM for Tubi and sold internationally by Blue Fox Entertainment, tells the story of Dallas, a determined dancer played by Siena Agudong, whose dreams are derailed when she meets Drayton, a grieving football star portrayed by Noah Beck. The cast also includes notable names such as James Van Der Beek, Drew Ray Tanner, Deborah Cox, and Jake Foy. Sidelined: The QB and Me is scheduled to premiere on Tubi later this year.

Blue Fox Entertainment has successfully closed international distribution deals for Sidelined: The QB and Me in various territories, including Germany and Austria (Capelight Pictures), Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and South Africa (Sun Distribution Group), France (SND), Australia and New Zealand (Kismet Movies), Scandinavia (Mis.Label), Switzerland (Praesens-Film AG), Turkey (Videomite), and Eastern Europe excluding Poland (Prorom).

GPM's unscripted slate continues to thrive with additional renewals. Timber Titans, which had a successful debut in early 2024, has been greenlit for a second season by Bell Media and will begin production this month. Wild Rose Vets, produced by Wapanatahk Media in partnership with GPM, has also secured a second-season order from APTN and Blue Ant Media ahead of its first season premiere in late 2024. Deadman's Curse, another popular docuseries, will see its second season air on Corus Entertainment's The History Channel this fall, with Season 3 currently in production. The companion podcast, Deadman's Curse: Volcanic Gold, recently premiered its second season on various platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

David Way, CEO of GPM, expressed his enthusiasm for the company's achievements, stating, "Great Pacific Media continues to move from strength to strength thanks to our incredible teams and strong network partnerships. Along with the renewal and expansion of our unscripted hits, we're taking on new genres with an exciting development slate and further delving into scripted films with our latest project Sidelined: The QB and Me."

GPM's programs have a wide global reach, with distribution in more than 180 territories. The company specializes in the financing, development, production, and co-production of factual, documentary, and reality television, while also expanding its scripted offerings. In addition to the Syfy series Reginald the Vampire and feature films Boot Camp and Sidelined: The QB and Me, GPM's productions include the highly rated Discovery Canada series Highway Thru Hell, new series Rocky Mountain Wreckers (The Weather Channel, Discovery Canada) and Timber Titans (Discovery Canada), as well as new seasons of Deadman's Curse (The History Channel, Hulu), Wild Rose Vets (produced in association with Wapanatahk Media for APTN, Blue Ant Media), and Styled (HGTV, Hulu).
