Paris Packaging Week, organized by Easyfairs, has launched its Future Leaders program to recognize young innovators in the packaging industry. The initiative, started in 2024, aims to support and celebrate the next generation of designers, entrepreneurs, and innovators in beauty, personal care, aerosol, drinks, and luxury packaging sectors.
Following a successful debut in the previous year, where 11 Future Leaders were selected from over 40 applicants, Paris Packaging Week is now seeking a new cohort of individuals under 30 who are shaping innovation and fresh perspectives in packaging. The programme provides a platform for young packaging experts to speak at the event, engage with industry leaders, participate in key discussions, shape the conference agenda, and gain exposure within the global packaging community.
The inaugural group of Future Leaders included entrepreneurs focused on sustainability, founders of beauty brands, and emerging talents from multinational packaging companies and design agencies. These individuals were chosen by a distinguished panel of design and innovation experts.
Peipei Yang, Sustainable Sourcing Project Manager at Trivium Packaging and a member of the Class of 2024, praised the program as an excellent opportunity for young leaders to connect with peers, gain inspiration, and expand their network in the packaging industry. Nominees must work in the packaging sector and be born on or after 1 January 1994. Nominations for the Class of 2025 are open until Friday 9 August, with the new cohort set to be announced in autumn this year.
